Daddy’s Home Special School

Vocational Training

Vocational training aims to embrace and develop every student’s unique skill, enabling them to become independent and contributing members of society. Basic time and money skills are introduced to the pupils. Housecraft skills are taught, including washing, cleaning, peeling and boiling. Students are taught to make a simple meal and sandwiches for themselves. They are encouraged to share and learn together.

Music, dance and swimming activities are included to provide leisure skills and enjoyment.

Value-driven morals like work attitude are imparted in pupils. Students are also given opportunities to learn House-keeping skills, how to make purchases at markets and travel by public transport. Cooking, baking and sweet-making classes are given, ensuring an additional avenue for securing employment for our students.
